Beyond the Veil
What you see on this canvas is a direct reflection of how I see the world everyday. The darkness represents where vision no longer exists. The blurred light is the fragments of clarity I still hold onto. The line cutting through is a permanent presence within my field of vision.
Rather than painting what the world looks like, I paint what the world feels like when seen through my eyes. Sometimes true vision isn't found in what we see clearly, but in what we learn to perceive beyond the veil.
Original Art
Every artwork is an original creation, born from my experience as a legally blind Noongar artist navigating a world of shifting clarity and perception. Guided by instinct, emotion, and connection to colour and movement, each piece is a reflection of how I experience life, not as it appears, but as it feels.
