Wild Earth

Wild earth is a painting about the places we carry within us, the raw, quiet landscapes that exist beyond what the eye can clearly define.

The earth is this piece is not bright or untouched. It is weathered, shadowed and imperfect. The deep burnt browns, charcoal, ochre and soft traces of light speak of ancient ground, changing skies and the beauty that can be found in things that are not immediately obvious.

For me, Wild Earth is about learning to look beyond the surface. Sometimes the most powerful landscapes are the ones we don't see all at once. They reveal themselves slowly, through feeling, memory, texture and instinct.

The blurred horizon represents that space between what is known and what is unknown. The darkness isn't emptiness, it holds depth, history and life. The small areas of light remind us that even within shadows, there always something waiting to be discovered.

Wild Earth is my reminder that beauty doesn't have to be clear to be powerful. Sometimes, you have to look beyond sight to truly find it.
